My name is Brien A. Seeley, M.D.
I am a Board Certified Ophthalmologist - a physician who specializes in comprehensive eye care.
My career of diagnosing and successfully treating nearly every kind of eye problem has equipped me to know what works best . After many years and thousands of eye surgeries I know when surgery can or cannot help and what non-surgical treatments can succeed instead. My loyal staff are all kind, highly trained and caring individuals who know our community and how to help you. Together, we find the safest and most effective treatments to optimize patients’ vision and ocular health.
Our office is different from many medical offices and clinics. We are Old School.
That means our staff are people who answer the phones and help you. It means that, during exams, we talk to you, not to a computer screen. It means that we have no limits to how many minutes we can spend with you so that we can take the time to help you fit your lifestyle to optimize the health of your eyes. Our office is comfortable, with plenty of free parking. We are personally connected to both Stanford and UCSF eye specialists for when we encounter the rare case that requires ultra-specialized surgery or treatment. We have so many loyal patients, many who have been with us for decades!
We also offer our own in-house optical shop Summerfield Optique, right next door, whose highly skilled optician, Patty, is a fashion expert who offers the latest styles in high-quality glasses frames, sunglasses and magnifiers. We also fit contacts lenses for young and old.
